This is clinical sports rehabilitation delivered in a friendly, accessible gym environment — combining the thoroughness of a clinical approach with coaching that feels practical, motivating, and achievable.
Step 1: Your Assessment (and why it matters)
We start with a clinical-style assessment. This is the foundation of everything we do — and it’s the reason your plan is truly personalised.
During your assessment, we’ll talk through:
Your goals and motivations (what “better” looks like for you)
Injury history and what’s been tried already
Current symptoms, flare-ups, and what aggravates/relieves things
Movement, strength, and control (what your body is doing today)
Lifestyle factors that affect recovery (work demands, stress, sleep, training habits)
Why we don’t skip the assessment
We know paying for an assessment can feel like a barrier — especially if you’re eager to “just get started.” But skipping it usually costs more in the long run.
Here’s why we do it:
It prevents guesswork. Without a proper assessment, exercise becomes trial-and-error — and that’s when people lose time, confidence, and momentum.
It keeps you safe. The right exercise is powerful; the wrong exercise at the wrong time can prolong symptoms.
It makes your program work faster. When we understand the real drivers behind your pain or limitation, we can target what matters most.
It gives you clarity. You’ll leave knowing what’s going on, what to focus on, and what progress should look like.
Think of the assessment as the part where we map the route — so your sessions aren’t random effort, but a structured plan with purpose.
Step 2: Your 1:1 Rehab Program (custom written)
After your assessment, we design a custom gym program based on your body, your goals, and your current ability.
You’ll then complete your program 1:1 with a rehab professional, so you’re never left wondering:
“Am I doing this right?”
“Is this supposed to hurt?”
“Should I increase weight, reps, or range?”
We coach technique, adapt exercises on the spot, and progress you at the right pace — building strength, control, and confidence session by session.
An accessible, supportive environment
Our gym provision takes place at Aspire Leisure Centre in Stanmore. The environment is welcoming and accessible, and we’re used to working with a wide range of abilities — from people returning to everyday walking and stairs, to athletes rebuilding performance.
