Meet The Team

Lynda Keane

Our Founder

Lynda Keane is our founder, a veteran aquatic specialist with over 30 years of experience, and a mentor to the next generation of therapists.

Lynda’s personal and professional philosophy is simple: knowledge is only valuable if you pass it on. Taught by her father that you cannot take what you learn with you, Lynda has spent decades sharing her passion, teaching aquatic therapy workshops and courses globally. Now, alongside delivering frontline therapy, she mentors university students on placement, ensuring our high standard of care continues to grow as science and technology improve.

With a Master’s degree in Soft Tissue Techniques and Exercise Rehabilitation, alongside an impressive assortment of advanced aquatic qualifications, Lynda combines deep academic knowledge with an intuitive, hands-on approach. She believes in truly listening to her clients by not just hearing their words, but also listening to what their bodies are saying. Using careful manual techniques, she feels tissue restrictions and joint ranges to pinpoint where pain might be referred from, demystifying the recovery process so clients know exactly what to expect.

When she isn’t in the pool or drafting upcoming research papers, Lynda is a certified family-first grandmother. She’s also a former French cuisine chef. Whenever she needs to think through a complex problem or unwind, you will find her in the kitchen creating traditional dishes for friends and family, usually accompanied by a great glass of wine and plenty of laughter.

Lynda brings a lifetime of expertise, fierce protection of client safety, and genuine warmth to our home at the Aspire Leisure Centre. We wouldn’t be here without her.

Andrew Peachey

Gym Team Leader & Aquatic Therapist

Andrew spent five years studying the human body because his own wouldn't stop breaking down.

Chronic back pain forced him out of education and later out of a career managing large events. The conventional answers kept falling short, so Andrew decided to find better ones himself. He emerged with a Master's degree in Sport Rehabilitation (GSR) and something no textbook can teach: a genuine, lived understanding of what it feels like when your body becomes the obstacle.

The frustration of flare-ups. The mental weight of not knowing if things will improve. That personal experience shapes every session he delivers. When a client tells Andrew they're struggling, he doesn't just understand the anatomy. He understands the person. He rebuilt himself from being entirely inactive and practically bedbound by pain to being a competitive powerlifter. He believes it’s possible for everyone to have a similar journey when the care is managed appropriately.

One area where Andrew's clinical interest runs particularly deep is complex, multi-system conditions like EDS and Fibromyalgia. His understanding of these conditions has shaped his conviction that water-based therapy offers something land-based work often can't. For people with these conditions, the post-exertional cost of a session matters enormously. The warmth and reduced muscular load aren't just comfort factors. They're often what makes meaningful movement possible without triggering a crash.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Andrew delivers 1-1 gym rehabilitation programmes at Aspire, writing and assessing exercise plans built around each individual's needs, history, and goals. You can find him in the pool too, as one of our longest-serving Aquatic Therapists.

Silvia Garcia

Pool Team Leader & Massage Therapist

Silvia earned her degree from London South Bank University while completing her placement hours with us in the pool. But she didn't arrive as a blank slate. She brought 14 years of professional massage therapy experience with her, giving her an intuitive understanding of soft tissue and fascial release long before she ever stepped into the water with us.

That combination of academic rigour, hands-on clinical work and over a decade of massage expertise shaped her into exactly the kind of therapist we want treating our patients. She doesn't just understand AquaStretch and aquatic rehabilitation in theory; she's felt it working under her own hands hundreds of times over.

What sets Silvia apart is her calm, reassuring presence in the water. For patients who arrive nervous, that steadiness matters. She meets people where they are, adapts her approach session by session, and builds the trust that keeps patients progressing. And if you've spent any time on our poolside, you'll know her Spanish flair and generous laughter are never far away. She brings a warmth to the team that patients notice from their very first session.

Silvia brings AquaStretch techniques and genuine compassion to every session at our home at the Aspire Leisure Centre. We're so proud to have her on the team.

Sam Pereira

Gym & Aquatic Therapist

Sam is one of our wet and dry therapists, working both poolside and in the gym at Aspire.

He grew up as a competitive swimmer. Years of training and competing gave him a genuine understanding of what it means to be an athlete: the discipline it demands, the setbacks that come with it, and the particular frustration of an injury that stands between you and the sport you love. That background shapes how he works, especially with younger clients navigating exactly that kind of moment. He's been there himself, and people can usually tell.

Sam also lives with psoriatic arthritis. That matters more than it might sound. He doesn't just understand chronic pain from a clinical perspective, he knows what a flare-up actually feels like. The stiffness on a bad morning. The unpredictability. The gap between what you want your body to do and what it's willing to do that day. That lived experience gives him an empathy that's genuinely hard to replicate in a clinical setting.

His approach is thorough, considered, and always personalised. He works across AquaStretch, Aquatic Rehabilitation, and brings Strength and Conditioning knowledge in the gym that helps clients build real, lasting function, not just symptom management. Whether someone is managing a long-term condition or working through a post-surgical recovery, Sam meets every person exactly where they are.

Harrison Hill

SEN Aquatic Therapist

Harrison is incredibly familiar with the water, having grown up as a passionate swimmer himself. Over the last decade, he has channelled that comfort into teaching swimming for SEND children and adults, alongside spending four years working within a SEND school environment. To support his specialised therapy role with us, Harrison has studied and become familiar with unique aquatic concepts including AquaStretch, Halliwick, and the Bad Ragaz Ring Method. He knows exactly how to make the water feel like a safe, supportive space for bodies that navigate unique daily challenges.

Harrison is driven by a beautiful personal belief: every single person holds unique strengths and the capacity to grow. He designs aquatic therapy sessions that don't feel like rigid clinical exercises; instead, he creates a fun, encouraging space where children and adults can explore movement without pressure, helping them achieve their full potential. He is currently completing his degree in education with the goal of becoming a SEND primary school teacher, constantly learning and developing his skills further.

Outside of his work and studies, Harrison is a creator through and through. He is an avid gamer and a talented craftsman (ask him about his crochet turtles!). He is also regularly found in the kitchen whipping up incredibly sweet treats, from elaborate cakes and biscuits to delicate macaroons, for his friends and family.

Harrison’s patience, specialised insight, and genuine compassion make a massive difference to the clients who trust us. He helps our high-needs individuals find their confidence and strength, one session at a time.
